I see no reason why you post this question on the forum and not via support.
But to make the answer visible to other users too, all replies to the refusal emails follow a path, they don't reach the editor directly. Sometimes a second review is given, sometimes a separate reply is provided. If you feel the response was "canned" why not reply and ask the editor for more info? posted in Contacting senior support.
We never evaluated pricing based on pixels, instead we tried to focus content. We "tried", because we ended up having several sizes for each file.
It's true that technologically, the cameras get better and better and we might change this structure when needed. The submission limit of 3MP could be raised, that is the most urgent thing if you ask me.
Because the usage is usually online, most designers download the middle sizes, not the minimum nor the maximum. For this purpose, the 12MP limit suits well most photographers and buyers. We will think about your suggestion nevertheless. posted in Maximum Size Images
They don't have to be exclusive. You just need to be able to remove them in maximum 72 hours if you get such sale (image is removed automatically from Dreamstime).
