Jerry Tang lives in the suburbs of Chicago. He was raised in a small town in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. In 1992, he took early retirement from Ameritech, where he was General Manager in charge of computer operations, to make outdoor photography his new life's work. He has captured numerous nature, wildlife and travel images throughout the U.S. as well as in China, Costa Rica, Kenya, South Africa and Canada. His work has appeared internationally in many books, magazines, catalogs, ads, exhibits, product labels and paper products. He is a charter member of the North American Nature Photography Association.
