A BS in environmental education, along with a solid biology and earth science background'; an MS in Education; A Paralegal certification with an environmental emphasis.
As a former science teacher, and a former naturalist, I have trained eyes to see the unusual in the usual.
Though I love the written word and the language of books, letters, and quotes, a picture often captures what the mind cannot speak.
Science has its own language and nature has a sound that sometimes can only be captured in a photo. Wild land saunterings (John Muir said he never went on hikes), paddles, climbs, etc. capture our world in a way that many never see.
